The Clerk has the responsibility of determining whether to release any by-law information in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Unless the matter goes to court, your name, address, telephone number, and email address will be kept confidential. Should the matter proceed to court, it is likely necessary for you to attend as a witness to the violation.
Please be aware that the availability of our bylaw officers varies throughout the week. Complaints will be prioritized and investigated as soon as it is practicable. Any matters that may require immediate attention, such as after-hours noise complaints, or strayed or injured animals, you may need to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
