BIA Equipment Rental Form

The Downtown Mitchell BIA has a popcorn machine, cotton candy machine & two tents available for use to Members & Associate Members. These items can be borrowed for your own business purposes (e.g. Customer appreciation event, sidewalk sale (with proper authorization from the Municipality, etc.). A member may borrow the equipment on behalf of a community organization.

A community organization may submit a request to borrow the equipment which will be reviewed by the Board of Management.

Please fill out the below form and click submit for approval from the BIA Coordinator.

Donations for rentals are accepted and appreciated. A $50.00 refundable deposit is required at pickup.

Note: The BIA Coordinator must be given at least 7 days notice in order to confirm availability and approval. 

NOTE: Pickup and drop off is only available during regular business hours (Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

Purpose
 

By submitting this form, you accept responsibility for:

  • Ensuring that you have met all required conditions.
  • Full financial responsibility for the cost of replacing the equipment if broken, lost or stolen. Approximate maximum cost to replace equipment: Tent $300 – 800; Popcorn Machine - $400.00; Candy Floss Machine - $400.00.
  • Picking up the equipment at the Municipal Office between regular business hours, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Municipal staff will direct you to where the equipment is stored but are in no way responsible for transferring the equipment.
  • Failure to return the equipment in clean, working order will result in your deposit not being returned.

Equipment is distributed on a first come, first served basis.
